Description
In 1998 the European Union classified cobalt chloride as a Class II carcinogen, and cobalt blue indicating silica gel has since been banned or phased out in Europe and the United States. To meet market demand, this cobalt-free, eco-friendly indicating silica gel was developed. Based on the blue indicating silica gel concept, it is made by impregnating narrow pore silica gel with an inorganic salt mixture to produce an orange indicating silica gel. Using a new non-toxic compound dye, it eliminates pollution from dyes and color-change agents at the source — a new-generation environmentally friendly product.
