Description
Silica gel decolorizing sand is produced from coarse pore silica gel as raw material, with SiO2 as the main component. It has stable chemical properties and does not react with other acids or bases except concentrated caustic alkali solutions and hydrofluoric acid. The sand adsorbs impurities, moisture and pigments in oils. After filtration through the sand, oils become clear and bright and compounds are removed, improving oil quality. It offers low loss, low cost and wide applicability.
